Lana Del Rey Engaged
Lana Del Rey sings all about "summertime sadness" (over and over and over again), but it seems like her latest summer was one for the books - in a good way. The singer allegedly got engaged to her rocker boyfriend a few months back. The pair became engaged last summer.
Lana Del Rey and Barrie-James O'Neill have been a couple since 2011. The engagement rumors initially popped up back in July when they were seen looking at houses in Los Angeles and LDR was wearing a ring.
Del Rey noted to Complex magazine in January 2012 that her Off to the Races track on her album Born to Die is about euphoric love.
"When I found somebody who I fell in love with, it made me feel different than I felt the rest of the day. It was electrifying. That's what inspired the 'Off to the Races' melodies, "she explained.
"That's one of the times when you're feeling electrified by someone else and they make you happy to be alive."
