Do you guys watch the talent shows on tv? What's recently often do you hear about the shows? The judges or the contestants? If your answer is the judges, you have the same answer with me.

These days talent shows no longer about the contestants, media further highlights or give more attentions to the judges. Look at American Idol, they paying Mariah Carey with high paid. They chose Nicki Minaj who is new in music industry. Even she had problem with Mariah Carey. I do not know whether this is just to boost ratings the show or not.

Even Clay Aiken from American Idol 2 said : “I don’t know that I would commemorate it on the show. I don’t know that they did it with Justin Guarini and all those folks. But ‘Idol’ back in those days was about the contestants. Kelly (Clarkson) and Justin and Tamyra (Gray) and Nikki McKibbin, they were all the starts of the show. And when I was on, Ruben (Studdard) and myself and Kimberly Locke were the stars of the show. Now ‘Idol’ is about the judges. I don’t even know if they remember there are contestants anymore.”

What about X-Factor USA? Why Simon Cowell chose Demi Lovato? She just 19 years old. She has comparatively short career, the talent show need experienced judges. I don't hate Demi Lovato but she just not appropriate for being a judge. For Britney Spears,despite her improved health, Britney is still never too far from scandal, which increases the gamble for X Factor bosses.

Hey guys, have you watched Life of Pi? If not, you should be watching it. I recommend for you to watch it in 3D.

This movie was without a doubt a work of art. Truly an impressive masterpiece, in every sense of the word. From the cinematography, to the story telling, to the pacing of the film, it is so thoughtful and grand. This will be a Oscar nominated movie very worthy of a win or so. 

Watching this movie I felt transported into the movie like I haven't been before. With the religious and spiritual themes are simple and deep and reveals more questions about what your faith and belief than to answer them. Sense there was no preaching about religion or spirituality made it also more entertaining. The way the story unfolded it explored how our storied can get us through the worst of experiences and to deal with the aftermath. This was more of a survival story and how faith in God, a higher being, or just in yourself. 

The way Ang Lee did the movie with the narration from old and young Pi to music all the whole time so there aren't any slow dead scenes, and the result was a faster more entertaining film. With there being basically one character for most of the movie it was important that the character appeals to the audience feelings, but also having the right actor. Suraj Sharma was excellent as the adult Pi. His ability to make each emotional scene as equal to the others shows the talent he has. Even the tiger on the boat with him almost having human features but still keeping him the wild beast he is. Although the tiger is computer generated it is quite hard to tell a lot of the time with the way it acts during the movie. He was as important a character as Pi was.

 The 3-D effects are equally beautiful. All in all, a beautiful movie.

Just like the other human being, myself is also getting older every year. And this year, I turn to 24. Pretty old, huh? When I was a teenager, I always thought that 20 something-people are so old. Back in that time, I saw them as mature people and kind of have serious life. I also thought that 20-something woman are always wearing high heels, fancy blouse, wearing make up and all.

But here I am, 24 years old, and feel that nothing's changed. I always feel that I'm still a teenager. I feel like I haven't matured yet, with this unstable mind and unplanned future. I don't like wearing make up, and feel more comfortable to wear my worn-out T-shirt. High heels is sure not my thing indeed.

Being grown up is really complicated somehow. Now, that I've turned to 24, I realize that I'm not a teenager anymore. 24 is a big number, man! It means that I must rearrange my life. It doesn't mean that from now on I'll wear makeup and high heels. Hell, no! It is my mind, and also my heart, that must be rearranged. Geez, this post is sounding so cliche. But it's true!
