Garnett, Pierce and Terry Have Moved To Brooklyn Nets

Brooklyn Nets officially introduced their newly acquired free agents from the Boston Celtics. Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Jason Terry will trading green and white for black and white.
Pierce seemed to be the most shocked player during the press conference after spending his entire 15-year career in Boston.
Russian billionaire and Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov, new Nets coach Jason Kidd and team general manager Billy King joined the star trio at a news conference where the Nets made dethroning the two-time defending champion Miami Heat their clear mission.
Pierce was the 2008 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player and Garnett dominated inside as the Celtics beat the Los Angeles Lakers for the title five years ago while Terry helped Dallas beat Miami in the 2011 finals before joining the Celtics last year.
The Nets certainly have the depth and talent to compete with anyone in the league. To bring Deron Williams, Brook Lopez and Joe Johnson together with Pierce, Garnett . Jason Terry and Andrei Kirilenko gives Brooklyn an incredibly strong core. But with all those great players come larger than life egos and smaller than needed intensity levels that need to be managed and manipulated.

So with the determination and fire in his eyes that has made him one of the greatest power forwards to ever play this game, Garnett said that the difference between champions and contenders came down to just one word: “sacrifice.”

As an Boston Celtics fan for around 5 years (yeah I'm a "newbie" fan) this trade dissaponting me. How can you trade the best players we have? I know they are old but they still can play not the top but a good level, I never heard about those guys. How dare Celtics trade Pierce and Garnett then welcome Humphries? I think Paul deserve retires as a Celtic, for him to not do so is an insult and total disrespect. Paul has been a loyal & dedicated Celtic from day one. A true captain and the face for the Celtics team. When you think of Celtics you think of Paul. Sorry not sorry but I'm following Pierce and Garnett to the Brooklyn.
