The movie centers on three teenagers Rocky (Jane Levy), Alex (Dylan Minnette) and Money (Daniel Zovatto) living in a destitute Detroit who burglarize homes in hopes of raising enough funds to one day leave Michigan for California. After receiving a tip about a veteran sitting on a large sum of settlement money from the death of his daughter the three decide to rob him to expedite their plans. They discover their target is blind while casing his home and think this will be to their advantage.

When a trailer promises suspense, my experience has been a few on the seat moments often deluded by cheesy plot lines and over exaggerated monsters. Fortunately, Don't Breathe decided to cast its die another way to deliver on what was promised. The movie is filled with suspense from the moment the "heroes" enter the house and begin their journey to rob a blind man. Using very simple, though well planned, tactics our main cast of three traverse the dark corridors in hopes of escaping with their lives. Many of the audience cringed with the creak of a rogue floor board, waiting for the military man to appear and hunt his prey. One doesn't realize how silent things are until that sudden sound effect pops out. Yes, the presentation certainly gives you the suspense you are craving, but that's not the only thing they did right.

In terms of plot, horror movies often have quality components, but as a whole are mundane, unoriginal, and formulaic. This movie is very similar to many films, but stands out for the plot twists thrown into the mix. You can get some of these twists from the trailers, however our screenplay writers dropped a few bombs into the mix that take the story down a new road. These surprises keep things fresh and add more urgency to the moment to further bring the thrills you sought with the trailer. And even better its presented at a quick pace that adds more energy to the scenes and a since of adventure that you often miss in horrors. It all feels like a visual version of the most dangerous game and doesn't dawdle to deliver the good stuff.

Alvarez reunites with Jane Levy, his leading lady from Evil Dead. Levy really wowed me in that movie and I was excited to see her in a new role with new scares. While some actors are remembered for their screams in horror movies, it's Levy's eyes that stand out. They convey so much emotion, and given that a good amount of this film requires her character to remain silent, she pulls it off brilliantly. Accompanying Levy is veteran actor Stephen Lang as The Blind Man. Lang's screen and stage presence is well documented in productions like Gettysburg, Avatar, and as Col. Jessup in the original stage production of A Few Good Men. His intimidating physique makes him the perfect choice to play this role.

When it comes to Don't Breathe, the word thriller is the most appropriate way to describe this movie. It provides the continuous suspense that your attention craves and throws enough surprises into the mix to make a decent tale. However, in terms of scary, I can't say it was the most system shocking of the mix. Still I have to recommend this one for the crowd who longs for a fast paced horror who like a bunch of close calls.

Well I was looking forward to this movie for long time and so excited about it until the movie released and got bad reviews. I had to cancel my plan to watch but unexpectedly I won 2 tickets to watch this movie. So, carry on.

Figuring they're all expendable, a U.S. intelligence officer decides to assemble a team of dangerous, incarcerated supervillains for a top-secret mission. Now armed with government weapons, Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang, Killer Croc and other despicable inmates must learn to work together. Dubbed Task Force X, the criminals unite to battle a mysterious and powerful entity, while the diabolical Joker (Jared Leto) launches an evil agenda of his own.

Suicide Squad is once again ,following on from March's Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice, disappointing. The mission the Suicide Squad is sent on honestly makes no sense for the type of people they are. At certain points the script just seem to focus on the characters of Deadshot and Harley Quinn as they seem to be the most explored and developed characters just so you feel for them and so there is something else to show in the filler scenes and this leaves out the rest of the characters out and barely shown. Joker he doesn't seem to do much and isn't as psychotic and twisted as the trailers promised and is as much ,if not more, of a disappointment than the movie itself is. He spends most of the movie doing things that don't have relevance to the plot and just there to fill in between some scenes so the main team of bad guys can get from one fight scene destination to another. He has no real relevance until one scene that supports the movie's finale, but unfortunately he's just there for flashbacks and filler as he doesn't really shine and deliver what was hoped. Jared Leto himself has said that most of the Joker's scenes have been cut from the movie and this is believable as there does seem to be a lot of him missing and certain scenes he was in might have made more sense if there was more explanation to them, but just like the rest of the movie the Joker's story line is a bit of a mess. A lot of problems, weak scenario, lotta strange and stupid moments, inability to understand what is this film - drama or comedy.

The biggest strength this movie has is the characters. I can't argue with the pick of actors either. Margot Robbie who did an amazing job with this part she absolutely killed the role her acting was great. I could say that Cara Delevingne's skill is a bit improving compare to her play as Margo in Paper Towns. Will Smith as Deadshot is very likable and funny.

Of course you'll watch this movie anyway and there is a great chance of improving in the sequel. So we wait and hope, but this movie is unambiguously not the shot we've expected.

Three years into its mission into deep space, the USS Enterprise is about to dock the most advanced space station ever built. Whilst on the station, an unidentified ship arrives, boarding an alien who came to ask for help as her crew and ship were lost on a planet inside an unexplored nebula. James T. Kirk (Chris Pine) accepts the rescue mission, yet once the Enterprise enters the nebula and communications are cut off, things aren't the way they thought they would.

As far as stories go, it's not a very original or intriguing one. The screenwriters have played it safe and stuck to a formula that works, whilst focusing primarily on the spectacle of the whole thing. That's not to say the story is bad in any way, just don't go expecting something you've never seen before. The villain is also a bit lacking when it comes to the motivation department. Again, it's a pretty basic reason why he's out to hurt the Enterprise crew and we saw this happen in 2009's Star Trek, with the lackluster villain Nero, played by Eric Bana in that film.

The cast mostly rose to the challenge. I like Zachary Quinto as Mr. Spock. His version of the analytically minded half-Vulcan is as charming and endearing as it's possible for a near-robot to be. Karl Urban as the always exasperated Bones is believable and eternally re-watchable. Zoe Saldana is little used in this particular film (a side effect of the also underdeveloped relationship drama between her Lt. Uhura and Spock), but does just fine where she appears. Chris Pine's Captain Kirk continues to puzzle me though. Pine cuts the right figure for the role—I would even call him the "natural" choice to play Kirk—but his portrayal has nevertheless left me thinking that the captain of the Enterprise is genuinely taken aback by every trap or surprise lurking behind the corner. Perhaps it's the writers' insistence on portraying him as perennially incapable of dignified composure, but Pine's acting does little to reassure the viewer that he is firmly in control of the situation. He seems to flap about his own star ship, stumbling his way into and out of trouble while somehow keeping hold of his overactive eyebrows, which are constantly trying to fly up off his head. Still, when he is called upon to act dignified, Pine can do it, but the script just doesn't give him the opportunities he needs.

But it's still worth watching because it is fun. The new writing team of Simon Pegg and Doug Jung may have written only half a plot, but they know how to draw a laugh, if not exactly when is best to draw it. If the Star Trek franchise is to continue making films the core component of their business into the coming years, I would like to see a return, at least partially, to the more philosophical bent of the television series, but honestly I would also be content with the characters just having actual stakes to their moral decisions.
