London Grammar Released Music Video "Nightcall"
One of the standout moments on London Grammar‘s emotive debut
album If You Wait, was their haunting cover of Kavinsky‘s massive hit “Nightcall”. Propelled into
the ice cold stratosphere by singer Hannah Reid’s exquisite, pining voice, the
cover takes the original’s atmosphere to ghostly new depths. Literally cannot express how exciting the arrival
of the video for London Grammar’s Nightcall cover is. We first heard the track about a month ago, and the entire
internet’s mind was blown. The track is taken from the Nightcall EP (out
December 8th) and London Grammar’s debut album If You Wait. The video itself
acts as the perfect noir accompaniment to the beautiful dark simplicity that
the song offers. The indie trio are currently touring throughout Europe and
will return to the US for more live shows in March of 2014.
