Remixes are nothing new for Linkin Park ... "Reinterpretations" are. So that's what they're calling the songs on the upcoming RECHARGED album, a collection of dramatically re-worked tracks courtesy of Steve Aoki, Pusha T, Rick Rubin and Tom Swoon. The new album is most definitely LP's most audacious and adventurous to date. Though, as frontman Chester Bennington explained, he and his bandmates see it as less of a reinvention, and more of a logical extension of the territory they've explored on their last two albums, A Thousand Suns and LIVING THINGS. Truth be told, that progression actually began when Linkin Park released LIVING THINGS, as they offered free remixes to fans who bought the album through their official site. After reaching out to a host of artists, they began stockpiling tracks, some of which finally see the light of day on RECHARGED.

James Blunt is staging his own war against Twitter trolls, by personally seeking them out to expose them. The singer says he will often re-tweet and respond to people who post negative comments on the social networking site, who he believes try and hide behind the anonymity they think their computers give them. His tactic has earned him extra praise on the site, for using humour to respond to abusive posters and reveal the type of comments he receives. Some of his best replies include: “Yes. He could start tweeting you. RT @MigsterMMA: Jesus christ, James Blunt's got a new album out. Is there anything else that can go wrong? And: “Good sense of perspective there. RT @RobMakin: James Blunt's back with a new single! This may be the worst thing that's happened in my life.”

Eccentric vegan songstress Fiona Apple is currently touring with a unique concept show titled 'Anything We Want,' dual-billed with her longtime guitarist Blake Mills. Appearing on stage silently at the Colonial Theater in Boston on October 23, Apple begins by aggressively, even rhythmically, scrawling the words "Teach me how to be free" onto a chalkboard. What follows is a delightfully bizarre and intimate stage show that, despite a consistent setlist, feels refreshingly spontaneous. Rather than having Apple and Mills perform separate sets, the two banter and shift between each others' songs, often lending vocal harmony during their time outside the spotlight.

Nathan Sykes finally confirmed his hotly rumoured relationship with Nickelodeon star Ariana last month after sparking speculation following a duet with the teen star. But keen to reassure his worried fans that his new doe-eyed state won’t see him leaving The Wanted to pursue a solo career, he declared his sole focus is the band. ‘I am so focussed on The Wanted right now,’ Nathan told Bliss magazine. ‘It’s all about The Wanted. Always has been, always will be.’ Nathan teamed up with Ariana earlier this year for duet Almost Is Never Enough, which featured on The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones soundtrack.

There were rumors floating around about Cody Simpson getting a little too flirty with Justin Bieber's reported girlfriend, Jacque Pyles. Cody said he's known Jacque for years now and is really happy his buddy Justin finally found a girl he likes being around since his breakup with Selena Gomez! "I saw [Jacque] a couple of weeks ago. I’ve known her since I was 13 — for like three or four years now," Cody said. "We used to be good friends and I guess she’s with Justin and that’s really cool — I'm friend of his too. So, it’s cool to see them hanging out."
