I'm totally into scary movies - especially zombie stuff. I just saw this movie today and it was great. Right from the beginning it was intense all the way to the end. I found myself short of breath and now I have a headache because of the overload hahaha.

Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), a former UN investigator, who had retired from that job to be with his family. We follow Gerry's adventures as it starts in his home town of Philadelphia, PA, as we saw in the trailer, when he gets his family to safety, and was then assigned to play a vital role in the zombie fight.

Brad Pitt did well as the lead actor. He was practically the only known name in the cast, and he dominates the screen with this star presence. Yet, we can still empathize with his character Gerry and the difficult situations he got into, no matter how incredibly lucky or superhuman he may have become. His long beard and even longer mane makes Pitt completely believable as a United Nations investigator. He's not a typical action hero. His mission isn't to save the world- just preserve what's left of humanity. Every man needs something to fight for but these people aren't it. Mireille Enosase doesn't have the sexiness and strength necessary to play Pitt's wife. And Sterling Jerins and Abigail Hargrove are two complaining kids that would barely survive middle school let alone the apocalypse.

CGI scenes are epic. There's no better way to describe it. We have never seen zombies like this, literally huge pouring masses of them, rolling through cities like an unstoppable river of hungry undead. This is a great concept and it's kind of a shame they showed some of those scenes in the trailer. Still, seeing them again is breathtaking.

The lack of gore is disappointing. We live in a time when there's a split zombie head every week on The Walking Dead. I expected more. Also, I'm not too keen on the concept of super-fast, super-strong zombies. Aforementioned The Walking Dead proved that you can do very impressive stuff even with walkers.

At any rate, it's a fast-moving plot with several visually spectacular sequences. Brad Pitt carries the movie.

I highly recommend this movie for anyone who likes thrillers, undead, shooters and it has it all.

It's one of the most anticipated movies of the summer, people talking about it. But can I say that I'm dissapointed with this movie? I'm not a fan of DC Comics or Marvel but I've watched all the superhero-themed movies. I agree with some critics who said that this movie is being too seriously.

Man Of Steel tells the story of Clark Kent (Henry Cavill), a young man who discovers that he is an alien from the destroyed planet Krypton and has super-human size and strength and uses his powers to help the human beings on earth. Clark soon finds out that the earth is going to be invaded by General Zod (Michael Shannon), an evil leader from Krypton. With the help of Newspaper reporter Lois Lane (Amy Adams), Clark now has to figure out how to destroy General Zod and save Earth.

Seriously, Superman just made this exact same face constantly from when he was kid to when he was fighting bad guys to when he was having an emotional conversation about his dead father figure. In between stilted conversations and awkward dream sequences, most of the dialogue in this movie came in the form of monologues from an enraged General Zod and a Jar El's ghost that was randomly manifesting itself in Kryptonian technology. There was no chemistry between Clark and Lois. NOTHING funny in this movie. Their biggest attempt at humor came at the end where a seemingly badass female soldier giggles and tells her boss that she thinks Superman is pretty hot. Faora-Ul literally the only awesome part of the movie because not only is she straight out of the comics, she also a bona-fide bad ass and totally hot.

In my opinion, they should have taken that hours' worth of footage, and used the time to only use the violence and fighting to further a plot point, or the characters, roomates they failed miserably at. I mean, I do not know! I'm not a screenplay writer, but you know, Goyer and Nolan Easily could have done something! Add stuff to make the more interesting STORY AND PLOT!

Overall, we see a Superman movie brimming with darkness and at times a little flawed, but I expect the second installment to learn from this and evolve into a proud moment of the Superman legacy.

Scientists develop a means of bringing dinosaurs to life using DNA taken from dino 'blood, roomates has been preserved inside insects encased in amber. Whilst Hammond is showing off his dinosaur 'theme park' to a selected audience a lawyer (Donald Gennaro), mathematician (Dr. Ian Malcolm), dino 'expert (Dr. Alan Grant), paleobotanist (Dr. Ellie Sattler) and his grandchildren (Tim & Lex), Nedry (computer expert ) disables the security system so that he can escape his the makeup with some stolen embryos. This enables all the dinosaurs to escape their enclosures. Look out the dinosaurs are coming.

Some excellent casting decisions enrich the whole package and there are plenty of character moments scattered about to flesh out the more extravagant action sets. Ian Malcolm is one of my favorite characters ever. His wit and brilliance fit in perfectly and Jeff Goldblum plays him. He delivers memorable lines. "Ah, life will find a way. God creates dinosaurs, God destroys dinosaurs, God creates man, man creates dinosaurs, God destroys Man." Malcolm has trouble speaking, literally. Everything he says does not sound like it could happen but he is the only one with any sense.

Highly recommend it in 3D! Particularly when the raptors are INVOLVED. The best part of course is that most of the visual effects still hold up well to this day, even if some of the technology within the 1993 movie has not.

The sub-plot on the paleontologist lead-character overcoming adversity to his children by interacting and saving two of them in Jurassic Park was a tad cheesy. Modern audiences may find it a little hilarious. Other than that, I find the movie still very much enjoyable, twenty years since it was first released.

Overall, I found the movie very enjoyable and it will be great family fun for parents with young kids. There were lots of excitable kids in the theater. I can hear them laugh and Whimper, reacting to what was going on in the big screen.
