When Diplo released the lineup for his infamous Mad Decent Block Parties on Tuesday, he also revealed another important bit of news: He and Skrillex are now collaborating on a new project called Jack U. When the highly anticipated lineup was released with the name Jack U alongside the likes of Flosstradamus, Dillon Francis, Riff Raff, Major Lazer and Big Gigantic, it opened up a pretty critical question: Who and what is Jack U? Diplo took to Twitter to address the inquiry: "Jack U ... Means Skrillex + Diplo together". With the wild success and imagination of both producers' other collective musical projects behind them, fans will have to wait until their July 7 debut to find out what Skrillex and Diplo will sound like sharing a stage.

Katy Perry has a lot to say on her next album, and she's not afraid to say it. "Maybe I'm not specific with names, but that's my lockbox where all my secrets go. Writing is like therapy. [My songs] stem from the truth inside of me," she said, Press Party reports. "I just want songs to be relatable, and to be adopted as someone else's soundtrack". In the nearly three years since she dropped Dream, Perry certainly has a lot of personal events to draw inspiration from, including her divorce from Russell Brand and her split from John Mayer. But, fans will have to listen for lyrical clues if they want to try and identify the muses.

Ciara has nothing to hide, and while her romance with Future may attract peering paparazzi and juicy blog headlines, the "Goodies" singer refuses to mask her love. Late last year, the rumors that the pair was dating began to surface, with no confirmation from either Future or Ciara, but in January the "Same Damn Time" rapper opened up about his main squeeze, saying that Ciara makes him happy during an interview with Hot 107.9 in Atlanta. Lately the two have been more open about their relationship in interviews, on Instagram and in music videos. Last week Ciara debuted the video for her single "Body Party" and in it Future plays her love interest. It's a huge step for the singer, who says she used to be more guarded in past relationships, with rappers Bow Wow and 50 Cent.

If X marks the spot, Team Breezy mark their calendars for July 16. That's the day Chris Brown will drop his next studio album. The singer confirmed the X release date on Twitter late Monday night, when he tweeted out a brand-new track, "I Can't Win." However, he confirmed that this cut won't make the album, writing, "Some shit I felt like writing that's not on the album". The mid-tempo break-up song is all about the ups and downs of a relationship, with Brown lamenting about how he just "can't win".

Lady Gaga's boyfriend Taylor Kinney is surprised by the news the couple will marry. The 27-year-old pop star and her actor beau started officially dating in September 2011. The couple have been cohabitating in Chicago while Gaga recovers from hip surgery and Taylor films his TV series Chicago Fire. It has been rumoured for quite some time the pair are preparing to walk down the aisle. Taylor dismisses the hearsay. "It's news to me!" he told Extra. "You probably know more about it than I do".
