Two bombs exploded in the crowded streets near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday, killing at least three people and injuring more than 140 in a bloody scene of shattered glass and severed limbs that raised alarms that terrorists might have struck again in the U.S.

The explosions struck in Boston roughly three hours after the winning runners had crossed the finish line. The blasts hit the north side of Boylston Street, near the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel and the bridge that marks the finish line of the marathon course.

As many as two unexploded bombs were also found near the end of the 26.2-mile course as part of what appeared to be a well-coordinated attack, but they were safely disarmed, according to a senior U.S. intelligence official, who also spoke on condition of anonymity because of the continuing investigation.

In a press conference hours after the blasts Boston Police Commissioner Edward F. Davis said the death toll had risen from two to three.

“These were powerful devices that resulted in serious injury,” Davis told reporters. Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick added that more than 100 people were injured, some gravely.

At the White House US President Barack Obama said it was not yet clear who was behind the blasts.

“We still don’t know who did this, or why, and people should not jump to conclusions before we have all the facts, but make no mistake, we will get to the bottom of this,” Obama said in statement broadcast live on national television.

“Any responsible individuals, any responsible groups will feel the full weight of justice,” he added.

Some 23,000 runners took part in the race, one of the world's oldest and most prestigious marathons.

One of Boston's biggest annual events, the race winds up near Copley Square, not far from the landmark Prudential Center and the Boston Public Library. It is held on Patriots Day, which commemorates the first battles of the American Revolution, at Concord and Lexington in 1775.

After Twitter's acquisition of music discovery service We Are Hunted became public, rumors began to circulate about a Twitter music app launching at the Coachella music festival this weekend. This development surfaced less than a day after We Are Hunted, a music discovery service, announced that it was acquired by Twitter.

The We Are Hunted team did not offer other details, except that it will shut down its website and that the staff will join Twitter. However, there is a Twitter music website up. Users discovered the music website Friday, although the website is not granting access to log-in requests as of 1 p.m. on Friday.

Twitter officials are not commenting on the matter, but they are pointing to the announcement made by We Are Hunted.

We Are Hunted, a 5-year-old company based in San Fancisco, used proprietary search technology to search the Internet for the latest music worldwide. It measured the popularity based on music charts, blogs, and social media accounts, and its recommendations spanned multiple genres.

For now, the buzz is on if and when the announcement will be made. Speculation started circulating after radio star Ryan Seacrest tweeted about testing the Twitter Music service Thursday: “playing with @twitter’s new music app (yes it’s real!) … there’s a serious dance party happening at idol right now.”

It wasn’t until Mr. Seacrest’s comment that We Are Hunted made its official announcement on its site and tweeted about it.

If Seacrest is to be believed, the app also offers the ability to play tracks, a feature that caused a "serious dance party" to break out on the set of Idol.

The app allegedly helps users discover new artists as well as stream music through Soundcloud, and overs a way to view what tunes are popular on Twitter as a whole as well as popular with just your friends.

Paramore almost collapsed a year later following the departure of brothers Josh and Zac Farro. Their band line up has changed and we can't expect them to be the same. They're changing and evolving not becoming stale with the same sounding albums every year. They just arrived where it is today because of the sound before, and the fans recognized this and felt the difference. Some fans dissapointed because their style and music changed but the others supported them.

Their songs in this album written by Hayley and Taylor, whereas previously almost all the songs written by Hayley and Josh. The possibility of that is what makes their music has lil bit changed. On this album as proof of Hayley that without the Farro brothers, they were able to rise.The angst, however, has far from dissipated, particularly in Hayley Williams’ lyrics, which are rife with bitter references aimed at the departed duo.

I've heard all the songs on their album and so far my ONLY favorite song is "Still Into You". I don't feel "connected" with their songs yet. Honestly, I don't like their first single "Now". Their song still sounds "so Paramore" but I know they've grown up.

This album is NOT the Paramore that you thought you knew, but a new, more diverse group exploring themselves with new genres and lyrical themes. They've managed to release a fourth record that makes as much of a statement as the first, and have come through the twists down the road stronger than ever. It is a bit poppy, mind.

Stoker is such an elusive of a movie because it transcends a lot of different genres and refuses to be pinned down. On the surface it’s a psychological thriller, but there’s elements of a more traditional horror story mixed with motifs typical of early American gothic literature.

The story is so dark, tense, and saturated in repressed sexual desires and sexual awakenings that the audiences has no idea where the movie will take them or what the motivations are for any of these lonely characters to be with each other.

India Stoker (Mia Wasikowska) is an unusual teenager. She has a knack for the arts, hates being touched, and dresses in a very old-fashioned way. Her relationship with her mother, Evelyn (Nicole Kidman), is tense, and she often finds herself being sexually harassed by the jocks in her high school. On her 18th birthday, her father dies in a horrific car accident, and during his funeral she meets a man she did not know existed, her uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode). India does not trust this new man but slowly India and Evelyn are drawn to him, for different reasons.

Nicole Kidman plays mother 'Evelyn Stoker', and Matthew Goode plays charismatically creepy Uncle 'Charles Stoker', but there's simply no argument as to who steals the limelight and it's Mia Wasikowska (Alice In Wonderland, Jane Eyre), as 18 year old 'India Stoker'. The actress is 23 but easily passes for an 18 year old. Her character is the main focus of the movie and I feel she was perfectly cast for the role. She's old enough to be sexy, yet young enough looking so you feel a little conflicted about thinking so, and, despite her innocent appearance, has a facial quality that you can believe hides a personality more sinister. The character she plays is deeply intriguing and her acting as a dark, sexually ripe, moody introvert was magnetic and convincing. If it happened to be awards season, I'd say she was in with a chance of some nominations, but then when does subtle acting as a quiet introvert ever get nominations?

The movie is beautifully shot with accompanying music composed by Clint Mansel. Stoker is one of the best movies of its genre I have seen. It is a suspenseful ride with more twists than your typical rollercoaster including an ending that blew me away. I loved every minute of it.
